Nate Millstein is a sculptor from Brooklyn, New York. His work originates in the abandoned inanimate objects that coexist with us in our surroundings. Cast iron radiators, old clothing, the pipes in our walls, and other familiar symbols are used as starting points to create abstract compositions and installations, complicating our associations with everyday objects, and exploring their emotional quality—how they grow, decay, and interact with a space over time. Nate graduated from Bard College in 2018.
